Jewelry designer Sheila Fleet produces and designs sophisticated Silver, Gold and enamel jewelry collections, reflecting times past and present. She worked for 26 years as a designer in the jewelry trade before returning to her roots to set up Sheila Fleet Jewelry in 1993. With a passion for her environment - the Orkney Islands in Scotland - Sheila creates original designs reflecting nature's wonderful sea, sky, and landscape colors. All items are made individually to order by a skilled team of artisans at her country workshop.

Sheila Fleet feels her designs take on an energy all their own while in the research and development process. Her designs are recognized as having a unique Northern style, perhaps even Scandinavian in influence, as the Orkney Islands were once linked historically and geographically. Orcadians have a strong independent feeling of their island identity. Developing designs that are a meaningful expression of her chosen subject is very important to her eventual creation.
