Dana studied as a poet and a painter, and holds degrees from the University of Iowa and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Dana also has a history in fashion. From shopping trips as a child with her aunt and uncle, Helen and Earl Fenton, to her eight years working for the industry's finest companies, including Donna Karan and Gucci.
