Genevieve Flynn maintains her studio in Kansas City, Missouri, the city in which she was born and raised. After earning degrees in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Repair, and Hand Engraving, she worked in the industry for 9 years before pursuing a business of her own. Defining her creative direction, she chose to pursue the study of hollowform design by taking intensive courses through the University of Kansas. Genevieve gained further experience by studying twice under Heikki Seppa, Master Metalsmith, internationally recognized as the modern father of form emphasis, including anticlastic raising and synclastic sinking.

This bracelet was made to resemble a bundle of cattails - a group of sterling silver wires wrapped with another wire along with two cattails on the bracelet.

With 30 years working in precious metals, Genevieve designs elegant hollowware and jewelry. Her award winning work is found in many private collections and in the collections of many synagogues and churches. Her commissions of note include a special commemorative pin presented to Ewing Kaufman, owner of the Kansas City Royals, and an intricately chased and engraved hand mirror presented to Paula Abdul, singer/entertainer.
