In 2002, the company launched its Cynthia Gale Signature Collection utilizing the fine art of repoussé. Cynthia discovered a unique repoussé workshop in Central Java and fell in love with the exquisite beauty of this time honored metalworking technique. She was convinced that repoussé was the perfect technique to utilize for her signature collection to offer to her rapidly expanding client base a unique insight into the world of fine craft. It takes ten years to train a repoussé artisan and a special aptitude and aesthetic.
