A young company just born in 2000, Calgaro is already known for the revolutionary marriage between the worlds of jewelry and fabrics. Giuseppe Calgaro designs necklaces, bracelets and earrings made from thin gold and colored silver woven threads that are durable, pliant and very lightweight. Calgaro has succeeded in working gold and colored silver in a completely new modern way. Calgaro chose Vicenza, Italy, as the center for their work. It is there in the workshop that a network of meticulous artisans takes care of assembling and molding the jewelry designed by Calgaro.

The first step of the journey for Calgaro was a challenge... to create an ever-thinner chain. And then thinner still until they created a sheer strand, durable, pliant and workable. Feather light, but with all the visual characteristics of a precious material, succeeding in working gold and colored silver in a completely new way. And so Calgaro was born - designer jewelry made from woven gold and silver strands that are, in a certain sense, sculptures to be worn. Calgaro has won the Award of Excellence - Premio Bulgari, and two Gold Virtuosi Awards.
