Handcrafted Designer Jewelry
Louise Norrell fabricates her jewelry in gold, sterling silver, and 18k gold bi-metal. Her techniques include soldering, chasing, forging and die-forming. Often using molds, Norrell die forms most of her pieces, and adds texture with chasing techniques or a hammer. She prefers to work in white or yellow gold and sterling silver, combining the metals in compelling and detailed designs. Her pieces are all fabricated from sheet metal or wire.

Louise Norrell once wished that working with metal could be more spontaneous. After years of working in a contemporary jewelry store in the small college town of Athens, Georgia, Louise Norrell decided to start her own business. Having gained the necessary experience of learning how a piece should lay and best flatter the wearer, Norrell knew that she was ready to develop, design, and market her own handcrafted jewelry.
