Designer Jewelry: Bracelets
Alexandra Samit, a recent Emory University graduate, launched Alexandra Beth Designs at the Young Designers Market. Her unique designs are a mix of soft leather and studs, delicate chains and gemstones. The result is a collection that is beautiful and wearable with each piece made by hand and priced affordably. Her materials come from all over the world, as close as New York and as far as Africa and India.

A native of Potomac, Maryland, Samit credits her business degree with moving her design company from her dorm room to the Internet and New York City. Samit strung her first beads at age six, and by the age of 15 had sold her first pieces commercially. Since then, her designs have sold in dozens of boutiques across the country, and she is fast becoming known for her inspired line that embraces a distinct and edgy fashion sense, particularly her recently launched two-tone, wrapped leather bracelets.
