Blend Creations Pendants

Eco-Friendly Designer Jewelry

Blend Creations seemed like a fitting name when husband-and-wife design team Eric Jean-Louis and Vivian Cheng decided to partner in an artistic business venture. They combined their talents to create a stainless steel jewelry line that is clean and modern in aesthetic. Eric and Vivian believe in being as green as possible, so they use sustainable components (bamboo and cork), recycled materials (old mah jong tiles) and off-cut materials from other industries (coral and mother of pearl) as jewelry inlays. Stainless steel is a recycled material that is also recyclable, so it's a perfect pairing with these inlays.

Graphic designer Eric and industrial designer Vivian were married and launched Blend Creations in 2005. They find design inspiration in everything from everyday objects to art gallery pieces, or the scribbles drawn by their young son, Jack. All of their products are proudly made in Canada. The metal for the stainless steel jewelry is machined in Canada, brush-finished by hand, and completed with handset-inlays created in the Blend Creations studio in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
