Dream Mullick Designer Jewelry

Fashion Jewelry: Rings

Dream Mullick is a jewelry designer who lives and works in New Mexico, but has been heavily influenced by Indonesian art. Her designs are influenced by nature, ancient cultures, and Bali. She travels often to Indonesia for rejuvenation and inspiration. She has created a fair trade partnership with silversmiths who handcraft her jewelry, continuing the same age old tradition as the first artist she met many years ago, as a student traveling through Indonesia.

Mullick's new Collection, full of incredible artisanship, is infused with a creative spirit that her team and the Indonesians are blessed with. She is committed to helping create a more sustainable future. As part of her commitment, she has partnered with the non-profit organization, Tree for the Future, to plant a tree for each piece of jewelry purchased. In addition, the tags that come with the jewelry are now renewable – the paper is infused with wild-flower seeds and printed with soy based inks. Simply plant this tag in soil, water regularly, and watch the wildflowers grow.

Mullick's first Indonesian experience was during a break from college in the summer of 1994. She was walking down a narrow alley in Java that led to a sunlit room in the back of a small silver shop. Here a weathered smith was sitting at a rustic workbench heating silver on a coal fire. With his bare hands, he bent and shaped a silver strand, working with meticulous attention and skill, as his family had for generations.
