Gemstone Jewelry: Necklaces
Judy Bliss designs her work to showcase women of all ages. Influenced by her formal training in the art of sculpture and her long-time fascination with fashion and style, her eye for texture, color and form led her to begin experimenting with jewelry, and subsequently developing and selling her own line. Her sculptural sense produces bold, extravagant, almost three dimensional shapes dripping with semiprecious stones, pearls, sterling silver, and gold vermeil.
BLue Mystic Quartz Necklace
This is the artist's signature necklace; its asymmetrical design makes it unique. It is adorned with faceted blue mystic quartz stones and completed with 24k vermeil chain and oval "c" clasp. The drop is 2" in length. 17" long.

Pink Amethyst Cluster Necklace
This necklace features a 1" pink amethyst drop offset with faceted pink amethyst and 24k vermeil clusters on a 24k gold vermeil chain. The front toggle clasp can be adjusted to different lengths along the chain. 19" long.

This 18' necklace features a .5" faceted london blue topaz pendant offset by 24k vermeil elements and faceted pink quartz hearts suspended from a chain of yellow cubic zirconia. The lobster clasp is 24k vermeil.

Judy Bliss graduated from the University of Oregon with a BFA in sculpture. To make a living, Bliss began selling first Native American jewelry and then works by contemporary jewelry designers. She soon owned three boutiques, featuring art glass, funky women's clothing and ever edgier jewelry. When rising rents strangled most small urban boutiques, Bliss turned to graphic design, but then bounced back to jewelry. While contemporary in style, her pieces transcend time.
