The Yurmans' casual elegance of pairing sterling silver with 18k gold and gemstones was visionary and it struck a chord with American women. In 2004, David re-discovered his passion for pearls. The South Sea Pearl Collection unites exquisite pearls, which David personally selects, adorned with silver, 18k gold, and often embellished with diamonds. David's love of color is realized with designs pairing gold, gray and white pearls. Also in 2004, Evan Yurman, son of David and Sybil, became head designer of the men's collection and has injected a fresh point-of-view into a growing category. The youthful pieces include leather, titanium, and polished, fossilized dinosaur bones in the modernized classical designs.
