Her trademark technique of combining granulation and filigree is inspired by wirework from contemporary Scandinavian filigree. Hill adds tiny granules of sterling silver, incorporating her own unique interpretation of granulation, which dates back to 3000 BC. The unique marriage of these two jewelry techniques is evident in her core collection and her signature scroll patterns.
Wood and Silver Alternating Bracelet
Over 20 beads of warm ebony wood, studded sterling silver globes and smooth scrollwork orbs are strung on a virtually invisible stretch band. The finishing touch is the charm, stamped with the signature logo, that dangles from the piece.

Lois Hill Carved Plate Bracelet
A plate of beautifully carved sterling silver is eye-catching. The plate is attached to 13 delicate chains on either side, which then join with two narrower plates that are also crafted of carved sterling silver. This fabulous bracelet measures 1 3/8 inch wide on the wrist. Measures 7 inches long plus a 1 1/2 inch extension and fastens with a toggle clasp.
