BYLU Jewelry

Handcrafted Designer Jewelry

BYLU (pronounced Blue) is the story of two friends Ken Leung and Dana Chin who found jewelry making as an outlet for their creative expression. Ken grew up listening to his dad talk about gemstones and jewelry. Dana grew up watching his parents create art. In 2003, inspired by the fashion scene and a vague vision of starting their own company, Ken and Dana started BYLU, with the hope of bringing a new perspective to fine jewelry.

Today, BYLU designs and handcrafts their jewelry in New York City. Since its inception, BYLU has been featured in the editorials of Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, WWD, DailyCandy, W Jewelry, and others. In their Compass Rose Collection, historic maps and centuries old embossing and etching techniques transform metal into nostalgic heirlooms. The Onefortyfive.sixty Collection is inspired by the raw expression of the hip hop and graffiti movements taking place in NYC during the 80s.
